Means of transport for the common good
"Social" is a big term and can include many things. For this reason, MIVA projects in this area are also very multifaceted. Social MIVA projects can be for example:
- Transport for kindergartens and orphanages
- Mules to secure livelihoods in the mountainous areas of Haiti
- Mobility aids and tricycles for physically impaired people
- Means of transport for use in agricultural projects
- Means of transport for educational projects
Educational projects are especially close to MIVA's heart. We are convinced that education is the key to a future worth living for people in the poorest countries of the world. Here, the support ranges from bicycles for pupils and motorbikes for the teaching staff to small and large school buses and even mobile libraries.
